  • The objective of this work is to allow the extraction of knowledge from a graph oriented database (example: Neo4j). The work consists in developing and modelling and implementing a question/answering systems (ex: StackOverflow) in the form of a data graph, then to implement different algorithms such as the detection of user communities, page-ranking of users, etc.

  • The work consists of generating analytical queries in natural language to allow decision-makers to analyze decision-making data organized in a data warehouse. The work consists first of all in adapting and adopting a meta-model of data warehouses (example: CWM) for the need for analysis in natural language. Subsequently, based on the classic exploration and navigation operations of the OLAP analysis tools, it is a question of generating a load of exploration and navigation queries and associating it with the corresponding SQL queries. Finally, it involves developing an application allowing decision makers to analyze data from the corpus of natural language queries.

  • The objective of this work is to extend the analytical possibilities on the StackExchange network and similar networks, based on the concept of Questions and Answers. This work aims to design and implement a multidimensional database of a set of cubes, which can be analyzed by OLAP tools. To this purpose, we used a set of technologies: MySQL as database server, Talend OS as an ETL tool and Jasper soft as a reporting tool. We show the feasibility of our proposal through its implementation and we give some perspectives.

  • More and more data is stored and managed in NoSQL databases, including graph-oriented databases. The work is to design a graph-based decisional database and optimize it.
  • In the first place, it is a question of allowing the analysts to conceive groups of nodes representing complex objects of the reality and to deduce the complex relations between these objects. Subsequently, analysis structures are deduced and optimized (better allocation on disk, management in memory, ...) in order to optimize the interrogation and analysis time.
  • The work will be validated on educational or other data.

  • The work consists of modeling a data warehouse to store and analyze massive data (Big Data) and to design massive cubes of data on demand. The work involves the use of a Hadoop eco-system-based Big Data platform, consisting mainly of the HDFS and Mapreduce pair as well as Hive as a structured database and Kylin as a tool. cubes design.
